Food isn’t something we use to fill our bellies, it’s our life force. I think of that when I’m working with clients and their dog as well as myself and my own animals.
Food is life sustaining and the quality of food we eat matters. When I’m making recipes I always have that in mind. This is how Super FydoPHoods came about, taking your dogs food and then taking it to the next level. It’s very simple, healthful as it adds value.
Start with fresh ingredients which can be powerful supportive to your dogs wellness, now add any package of any of our products and now you have “Super FydoPHoods”
For this Recipe we used root products.
1 small bag of organic carrots: Carrots are a particularly good source of beta-carotene, fiber, vitamin K, potassium and antioxidants.
1 large Beet Root: Help Fight Inflammation. May Improve Digestive Health. May Help Support Brain Health. May Have Some Anti-Cancer Properties
2 large Parsnip: Parsnip is great for the digestive system, can help individuals fight infections, can help the bones stay healthy, and may help improve cognitive function.
2 medium sweet potatoes: are a rich source of fiber as well as containing an array of vitamins and minerals including iron, calcium, selenium, and they’re a good source of fiber, B vitamins and vitamin C. and is high in an antioxidant.
1 package of Super FydoPHoods: Increase the value of your dogs food by adding a package of one Vita Pac’s of which there are variety’s
For our recipe we used Fydo Zymes Natural Enymes
Organic Whole Pumpkin, Organic Flax Seed, Organic Ginger, Pineapple, Papaya, Chlorella, Organic Parsley, Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, Organic Clove, Organic Marshmallow Root
Organic Pumpkin: Offers natural digestive enzymes, is a great source of fiber and helps with digestive regularity. It is a good source of Vitamins C and A, Iron. Not only will they love the taste of pumpkin but it may also ease stomach issues.
Papaya: fruit is a rich source of valuable proteolytic enzymes, such as papain, chymopapain, caricain and glycyl endopeptidase, that can greatly aid in the digestive process. This is especially true of meals that contain meat or other concentrated forms of protein.
Organic Flax Seed: Among it’s many benefits flax seed is it’s ability to promote digestive health. The ALA in flax can help protect the lining of the digestive tract and maintain GI health. It has been shown to be beneficial for digestive ailments, as it can help reduce gut inflammation.
Pineapple: The health benefits of pineapple are plentiful as it is an excellent source of vitamin C, manganese, vitamin B6 and vitamin B1 as well as folate. Pineapple also has a digestive enzyme called bromelain, which is a mixture of proteolytic enzymes. These enzymes work together to help your digestive system break down and absorb proteins from the foods you eat. However they are not limited to just digestive benefits; as research has shown, they also help with excessive inflammation,certain types of tumor growth, relieve stomach aches, heartburn and diarrhea.
Chlorella: Contains enzymes such as chlorophyllase and pepsin, which are digestive enzymes. These enzymes perform important functions in the body, people find chronic bad breath is often eliminated in just a few days, foul smelling stools are also greatly improved and chlorophyll has been attributed to relieving constipation.
Organic Marshmallow Root: Contrary to what the name might conjure, marshmallow root is not the same as the airy, sugary puffed treat we’re all accustomed to. It’s actually the root of the marshmallow plant filled with healing properties. Marshmallow coats the inside of the stomach and prevents acid from causing discomfort and it helps restore integrity of the gut lining by forming a protective layer around small junctions.
Clove and Parsley can aid in soothing tummy upsets and nausea.
