Fighting Doggie Flu and Colds Naturally

Super Foods are a great way to keep your dogs immune system strong. These tasty treats can be a great way to support your dogs to combat colds, flu, virus, bacteria and kennel cough.

Super FydoPHoods power packs are a great start, because they offer phytonutrients.

What makes phytonutrients is the pigments that give fresh foods their vibrant hues of red, green, yellow and orange, contain powerful antioxidant properties. Many fruits and vegetables are suitable for dogs to eat, and contain compounds that help provide protection against many ailments and diseases.

Phytochemicals do seem essential for deep-seated good health, well being, immunity — and probably longevity as these colorful foods known as carotenoids (such as beta-carotene, lutein, lycopene and Zeaxanthin) and flavonoids (such as isoflavones, anthocyanins and flavones)

The powerful health properties of phytonutrients can enhanced immune system activity, protection against cancer, support of eye and heart health, improved communication between cells and repair of DNA damage. These antioxidants also help slow down the signs of aging by cleaning up the by-products of oxidation within the body’s cells. .

So Super FydoPhoods offer nutriantdence super foods but lets put it together with a powerful recipe that can help support any dog exposed to virus or bacteria like dogs that go to dog parks, boarding, training classes, walking your neiborhood as all these places potentially can spread virus, bacteria and even kennel cough.

1 cup of Elderberry (click to buy)  Elderberries are particularly rich in flavonoids, especially anthocyanins which are responsible for their deep purple (almost black) coloring. These powerful antioxidants work to keep the immune system strong.

These tiny berries are also believed to contain antiviral agents– compounds so potent they are thought to deactivate viruses. Viruses are unable to multiply on their own and need to get inside a healthy cell to do so. They are cleverly coated with something called “haemagglutinin spikes” to help them pierce the cell wall. These viral spikes are also covered with enzymes which the virus uses to break down the cell wall. Elderberries have high concentrations of bioflavonoids which appear to inhibit the action of this enzyme, thus deactivating viruses and rendering them unable to pierce the cell wall and replicate.
